Wilsonville in Clackamas County - located about 30 minutes south of Portland just off I-5 south of Tualatin and the I-205 & I-5 interchange in wine country´s Willamette Valley.  Wilsonville has become very attractive to large companies like Xerox, Mentor Graphics, Hollywood Entertainment, Tektronix, Tyco Electronics and one of Nike´s US Distribution Centers.  Also located in Wilsonville is the district of Charbonneau a large planned community started in the 70´s with condos, townhomes and single family homes surrounding the 27 hole Charbonneau Golf Course.  Town Center in Wilsonville supplies the area with almost everything they need with a multi-plex theatre, shops and restaurants.  Wilsonville is growing and growing, new development abounds and prices have gone up.  The biggest amount of development occurred in the 90´s and as with most Portland cities the majority of homes are two or more levels on smaller lots, the newer the home the smaller the lot.  Wilsonville is also home to Wilsonville Memorial Park, Boones Ferry Park on the Willamette River, Willow Creek Landover Park, Courtside Park, Town Center Park, Merryfield Park and Tranquil Nature Park.

Newberg in Yamhill County - is located about 40 minute from downtown Portland off Hwy 99W.  Located in the Willamette valley the home of Oregon´s wine country, Newberg is home to George Fox University a private Christian 4 year college of the humanities, sciences, and professional studies ranked by U.S. News & World Report as a top-tier western regional university.  It´s a family oriented town with country feel yet close to a major metropolitan area, they even have a fully functioning drive in theatre.  Chehalem Park and Recreation District provide for area parks, sports & recreation, an aquatic center, a host of classes and community services.  Housing in Newberg used to be a bargain but with the boom of the early 2000´s prices increased, but are still less than the neighbors to the north Sherwood, Tigard and Tualatin.  You´ll find mostly single family homes with an occasional condo/townhome.  As with most Portland cities the majority of homes built after the mid 80´s are two or more levels and on smaller lots, the newer the home the smaller the lot.  Home to great parks Newberg offers, Amory Park, Babe Nicklous Pool Park, Buckley Park, College Park, Crabtree Park, Darnell Wright Softball Complex at Crater Park, Dundee/Billick Park, Ewin Young Park with a golf course, skatepark and BMX track, Falcon Crest Park, Glady´s Park, Herbert Hoover Park, Jacquith Park, Memorial Park, Oak Knoll Tot Lot, Rotary Centennial Park, Scott Leavitt Park, Spring Meadow Park, White Oak Park as well as Chehalem Glenn Golf Course.

McMinnville in Yamhill County -  is about an hour from downtown Portland located off Hwy 99W and SW of Newberg.  McMinnville has a quaint and active downtown district is home to Linfield College with a Nursing & Health Sciences college and on the edge of town is the Evergreen Aviation Museum displaying the Spruce Goose.  You can find turn of the century homes around downtown and as you spread out the homes get newer and newer.  Prices in McMinnville are less than Newberg and their other neighbors to the north, because the further you get from downtown Portland, the less expensive the property.  Due to the cost of housing there are not many condo/townhouse options available.  As with most Portland cities the majority of homes built after the mid 80´s are two or more levels on smaller lots, the newer the home the smaller the lot.
